Environmental Mitigation & Protection
Environmental mitigation involves taking proactive measures to reduce or offset the adverse impacts of human activities on the environment. At LRG, our goal is to minimize loss of resources by looking at alternatives to minimize loss and saving the client money. LRG addresses the environmental challenges that arise from development, construction, and other projects. Through effective mitigation strategies, we ensure that our activities are environmentally responsible and sustainable, balancing economic and social benefits with the need to protect and preserve natural resources and ecosystems.

Our Commitment to Responsible Development

Avoidance & Minimization
Working with the client to modify plans or actions to prevent adverse environmental impacts from occurring in the first place. For example, redesigning to avoid sensitive habitats. Implementing measures to reduce the extent of environmental damage. This might include using construction practices that limit soil erosion or managing waste to prevent pollution.

Restoration
Rehabilitating or restoring degraded habitats to their natural condition. This often involves activities such as replanting native vegetation rehabilitating wetlands.

Monitoring & Adaptive Management
Continuously monitoring the environmental impacts of a project and adjusting mitigation measures as needed to ensure they are effective and to address unforeseen issues.
